Intermeshed pipe network

This is based on the branched network, but the end points of the branch lines are connected to each other. Compared to the branched network, this system ensures that the supply is maintained in the event of a fault, but only to a limited extent due to the usually insufficient dimensions of the connecting pipes. The resulting flow directions and flow velocities are not easily manageable. The construction costs are higher than those of the branched system.
