Rules for pressure boosting
The rules for pressure boosting are regulated in DIN 1988-500.
According to DIN 1988-500, pressure boosting systems are only necessary if the minimum supply pressure is less than the sum of the pressure loss in the drinking water installation, the pressure loss from the geodetic height difference and the minimum flow pressure.
