Pressure loss in the water meter
To calculate the pressure loss in the domestic water meter (WVU), a known operating point with a given pressure difference (Δpg) and a given flow rate (Vg) is required. These values must be specified by the manufacturer of the water meter.
The water meter is dimensioned and the pressure loss calculated by the water supply company (WVU).
