Hydraulic balancing (DHW)

In a branched circulation system, the calculated circulation volume flows only materialise if the circulation system is hydraulically balanced. The "hydronic balancing" requires that the sum of the calculated flow losses for the desired volume flow distribution is just as large as the pressure difference ΔpP generated by the pump. As the balance between pump pressure difference and system pressure loss cannot be achieved solely via the flow resistances in the pipework and pipe installations in circulation circuits of different lengths, defined pressure differences must also be built up in circulation regulating valves.
