Hygiene technology

VDI 6023 defines hygiene as the totality of all endeavours and measures to prevent direct or indirect health impairments and disturbances to the well-being (discomfort) of individual consumers.

According to DVGW/VDI 6023, DIN EN 806 and DIN 1988-200, the proper operation of a domestic drinking water installation means regular water changes in all parts of the system. The requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance must be met through professional and needs-based planning, proper operation and regular maintenance of the drinking water installation. The aim of hygiene technology is, among other things, to minimise stagnation times in addition to maintaining the temperature.
