Nominal size

The nominal size (NS) is a dimensionless performance parameter of a grease separator. The nominal size is influenced by the severity factor of the temperature ft, the severity factor of the density fd, the severity factor of the rinsing and cleaning agents fr and the maximum waste water discharge Qs.

Symbol or abbreviation:

NS

Usual unit:

l/s

Equation:NS=Qs*ft*fd*ft
