Temperature as an aggravating factor

The temperature of the waste water influences the grease separator effect. To take this influence into account in the design, there is a severity factor depending on the temperature. For temperatures higher than or equal to 60 °C, a severity factor of 1.3 is used in accordance with DIN EN 1825-2. For temperatures below 60 °C, a factor of 1.0 is used in the design in accordance with DIN EN 1825-2.
