Pressure pipe of a sewage lifting station

The pressure pipe of a sewage lifting station carries sewage below the backflow level with the base of the backflow loop abovethe backflow level. It should be noted that the pressure pipe must be able to withstand at least 1.5 times the maximum pump pressure of the sewage lifting station. No ventilation valves may be installed in pressure pipes. In accordance with DIN EN 12056-4, the pressure pipe must always be connected to a ventilated base pipe or collecting pipe. The connection of a pressure pipe to a downpipe is not permitted.
