Aeration valve

Air release valves are used to limit pressure fluctuations in the drainage system. They allow air into the drainage system, but not out again. Aeration valves can be used as a replacement for bypasses or indirect secondary ventilation in a main ventilation system. Aeration valves must not be used as aeration for separation and lifting systems and in areas at risk of backflow below the highest possible wastewater level.
