Dialogues and additional information
Room-based drawing
The Room-based drawing window in the Drinking water and waste water section allows you to configure and display all rooms and room combinations within the drawing.
Options
Under Options in the Room-based drawing window, you can access the configuration management of the selected configuration.
Edit configuration
Click Edit to access the configuration editing of the currently selected configuration.
Drinking water
In the Drinking water area of the Edit configuration dialogue, you define the settings for pipe network creation for the room-based drawing functions.

  - 3D view
    The 3D view window displays a 3D overview of the currently captured or calculated drawing. The bidirectional link with the drawing ensures that the currently selected object is always visible in the drawing and in the view window.
  - Wastewater lifting unit
    The component Wastewater lifting unit is used to integrate components that are drained via the wastewater lifting unit in the drawing.
  - Design options (waste water)
    Drawing-specific settings relating to your calculation are set in the Design options dialogue.
  - Design options (heating)
    Drawing-specific settings relating to your calculation are set in the Design options dialogue.
  - Design options (drinking water)
    Drawing-specific settings relating to your calculation are set in the Design options dialogue.
  - Construction stages
    You can divide a drawing into construction stages so that you can later create a material extract according to construction stages.
  - Component properties
    In the Edit and Calculate work perspective, your selection in the drawing is highlighted in colour. Section properties and component properties can be displayed and edited differently from the global project settings.
  - Component filter
    The component filter allows you to quickly filter the selected components in the drawing.
  - Edit labelling
    The predefined labelling features can be configured in the text field {Platzhalter} for features and constant text.
  - CAD-Performance Tool
    The CAD Performance Tool is a tool for the automated revision of plans to improve performance.
  - Drainage areas
    The Drainage areas window in the Drainage section is divided into two tabs.
  - Find function
    STUDIO has a parameterised search function that supports you when searching for drawn sections and components in the drawing, when selecting smart blocks to insert and when selecting products.
  - Heat load report
    With the preview of the calculation output, STUDIO supports you in customising the calculation output.

    With the preview of the calculation output, STUDIO supports you in customising the calculation output.

      Several configurations are available for use on delivery. These contain a preconfigured set of rules for line and room management.

      Under Options in the Room-based drawing window, you can access the configuration management of the selected configuration.
      - Create configuration copy
        Use Create copy to create a duplicate of the currently selected configuration.
      - Rename configuration
        Use Rename to rename the currently selected configuration.
      - Delete configuration
        Click Delete to remove the currently selected configuration.
      - Edit configuration
        Click Edit to access the configuration editing of the currently selected configuration.
        Room labelling
        In the Room labelling area in the Edit configuration dialogue, you define the settings for room labellingfor the room-based drawing functions.
        Architecture
        In the Architecture section of the Edit configuration dialogue, you define whether shafts are to be generated using room-based drawing.
        Drinking water
        In the Drinking water area of the Edit configuration dialogue, you define the settings for pipe network creation for the room-based drawing functions.
        Supply
        In the Supply area of the Edit configuration dialogue, you define the settings for the supply line routing for the room-based drawing functions.
        Storey
        In the Floor area of the Edit configuration dialogue, you define the settings for the supply line routing for the room-based drawing functions.
        Waste water
        In the Waste water area in the Edit configuration dialogue, you define the settings for creating pipe networks for the room-based drawing functions.
      - Export configuration across drawings
        Use Export across drawings to make the configurations from the current drawing available for other drawings within and outside the current project.
      - Import configuration across drawings
        Use Import across drawings to load further exported configurations from other drawings into the current drawing in addition to your existing configurations.
      - Reset configuration to delivery status
        Use Reset to delivery status to restore the delivery status of the configurations.
    - Delete all
      Delete all removes all pipework within the rooms.
    - Delete selection
      Delete selection removes all pipework within the selected rooms.
    - Update all
      With Update all, all pipework within the rooms is updated.
    - Update selection
      With Update selection, all pipework within the selected rooms is updated.
    - Overview of rooms and room groups
      The room informationis displayed in the tabular overview.
  - Schematic Generator
    The Schematic Generator makes it possible to design a complete wiring diagram without any CAD experience. In a floor plan drawing, the Schematic Generator is not active.
  - Simulation
    The simulation is divided into a circulation simulation for hot and cold water and a water withdrawal simulation.
  - Section properties
    In the Edit and Calculate work perspective, your selection in the drawing is highlighted in colour. Section properties and component properties can be displayed and edited differently from the global project settings.
  - Insert drawing reference
    The Insert drawing reference function guides you through the settings for inserting a drawing reference.
