The CAD Performance Tool is a tool for the automated revision of plans to improve performance.

  - 3D view
    The 3D view window displays a 3D overview of the currently captured or calculated drawing. The bidirectional link with the drawing ensures that the currently selected object is always visible in the drawing and in the view window.
  - Wastewater lifting unit
    The component Wastewater lifting unit is used to integrate components that are drained via the wastewater lifting unit in the drawing.
  - Design options (waste water)
    Drawing-specific settings relating to your calculation are set in the Design options dialogue.
  - Design options (heating)
    Drawing-specific settings relating to your calculation are set in the Design options dialogue.
  - Design options (drinking water)
    Drawing-specific settings relating to your calculation are set in the Design options dialogue.
  - Construction stages
    You can divide a drawing into construction stages so that you can later create a material extract according to construction stages.
  - Component properties
    In the Edit and Calculate work perspective, your selection in the drawing is highlighted in colour. Section properties and component properties can be displayed and edited differently from the global project settings.
  - Component filter
    The component filter allows you to quickly filter the selected components in the drawing.
  - Edit labelling
    The predefined labelling features can be configured in the text field {Platzhalter} for features and constant text.

    - Configuration selection dialogue
      In the configuration selection dialogue, you can select and execute an existing configuration or create, rename, delete, import, export and edit configurations.

      You can edit a configuration in the dialogue for the rule configuration.

    The simulation is divided into a circulation simulation for hot and cold water and a water withdrawal simulation.

Drawing settings

Number of decimal places

Here you can set the number of decimal places displayed by the CAD system's coordinate system.

Tip:

STUDIO We recommend keeping the number of decimal places to a minimum.

Current layer

Here you can adjust the currently used layer on which new CAD elements are drawn.

Current line type

Here you can adjust the currently used line type on which new CAD elements are drawn.

Current text style

Here you can customise the current text style used to place new CAD texts.

Current colour

Here you can adjust the currently used colour in which new CAD elements are created.

Tip:

You can use the Current layer, Current line type, Current text style and Current colour configurations to quickly set your office standards for new elements to be drawn.

Note:

The changes made under Current layer, Current line type, Current text style and Current colour only apply to newly drawn elements. Existing elements are not changed.
