Cap valve

For the maintenance of a heating system, DIN EN 12828 recommends a shut-off device with a drain valve to prevent unintentional closing, so that the connection between the heat generator and the diaphragm expansion vessel is not interrupted during system operation. For this purpose, cap valves are used, which are additionally equipped with a cap to protect against unintentional closing. In addition, the cap is often sealed.
