Bypass circuit

The bypass circuit is characterised by a bypass in the flow and return, which connects the control valve and the pump. The pump and control valves can be installed in the flow or return. The control valve is set so that the desired flow temperature is reached when the control valve is fully open and the maximum flow temperature from the boiler is reached. The bypass circuit is used for large temperature differences between individual mixing circuits and generator circuits.

Properties of the bypass circuit:
  • There is a pump in the consumer circuit.
  • The generator circuit has variable flow rates.
  • There are variable flow temperatures in the consumer circuit.
  • There is protection against overtemperature.
Typical applications of the bypass circuit are
  • Underfloor heating
  • Wall heating
