Design options (drinking water)
Drawing-specific settings relating to your calculation are set in the Design options dialogue.

In the Pressure boost ing area under Calculation, information on the average pressure drop and settings for the pressure boosting system are specified.

Pressure boosting (design options for drinking water)

In the Pressure boost ing area under Calculation, information on the average pressure drop and settings for the pressure boosting system are specified.

The Pressure boosting area is divided into two sections.

In the table, you can adjust the default values in the Average pressure drop column , including the individual resistance losses in hPa/m (see also Average pressure drop and Pressure loss due to individual resistances).
Note:
By default, the specifications from the now withdrawn DIN 1988-5 are used for the pressure drop.
You can enter the number of pumps (without reserve pump) and the number of reserve pumps in the settings for pressure boosting systems.
