Simulation

The simulation is divided into a circulation simulation for hot and cold water and a simulation of a cold water hygiene system.

In principle, the simulation takes a different approach to a calculation. The basis of the simulation process is a fully dimensioned and, if necessary, calibrated pipe network. In the past, pipe networks were only dimensioned and calibrated using DIN-compliant calculations. However, this calculation only ensures compliance with minimum values and only represents a specific static case on which the calculation is based.

In many cases, however, the realistic operating case is of interest. For example, to analyse the reaction of thermal valves to different system temperatures in a circulation system or to determine the actual available flushing volume flows and flushing times in a cold water hygiene system.

Only physical relationships play a role in determining the volume flows, temperatures, speeds, etc. that occur. Limit values are only checked and, if necessary, corresponding messages are issued.
