Room-based drawing
The Room-based drawing window in the Drinking water and waste water section allows you to configure and display all rooms and room combinations within the drawing.
Select configuration
Several configurations are available for use on delivery. These contain a preconfigured set of rules for line and room management.
Drinking water configuration
04 KHS flow splitter PWC + PWH double wall disc
The 04 KHS flow splitter PWC + PWH double wall disc configuration integrated in the room-based drawing window generates floor lines and connects the consumers with individual supply lines. This creates an installation with a flow splitter in the cold water and hot water. Depending on the consumer type, the object connection is made with a double wall disc or a T-piece connection.

  - 3D view
    The 3D view window displays a 3D overview of the currently captured or calculated drawing. The bidirectional link with the drawing ensures that the currently selected object is always visible in the drawing and in the view window.
  - Wastewater lifting unit
    The component Wastewater lifting unit is used to integrate components that are drained via the wastewater lifting unit in the drawing.
  - Design options (waste water)
    Drawing-specific settings relating to your calculation are set in the Design options dialogue.

    The component filter allows you to quickly filter the selected components in the drawing.
  - Edit labelling
    The predefined labelling features can be configured in the text field {Platzhalter} for features and constant text.

    The CAD Performance Tool is a tool for the automated revision of plans to improve performance.
  - Drainage areas
    The Drainage areas window in the Drainage section is divided into two tabs.

    STUDIO has a parameterised search function that supports you when searching for drawn sections and components in the drawing, when selecting smart blocks to insert and when selecting products.

This creates an installation with a flow splitter in the cold water. A thermostatic circulation regulating valve, in this case an ETA-THERM, is used as the regulating valve. For consumers with a wall fitting, the object connection is made with a thermal separator.

        The 02 KHS flow splitter PWC + Etatherm double wall disc configuration integrated in the room-based drawing window generates floor lines and connects the consumers with individual supply lines.         The configuration 11 Counted ring installation in the Room-based drawing window, which is integrated in the delivery state, generates floor lines and connects the consumers with individual supply lines. A ring installation is generated in the cold water. Water meters with a concealed shut-off are generated on the floor. The sanitary objects are connected with a T-piece in the outlet.
        12 Counted stub line installation
        The configuration 12 Counted branch line installation in the Room-based drawing window, which is integrated on delivery, generates floor lines and connects the consumers with individual supply lines. Water meters with a concealed shut-off device are generated. The consumers are connected with a branch line.
        20 Horizontal KHS flow splitter PWC + Etatherm TTMB
        The 20 Horizontal KHS flow splitter PWC + Etatherm TTMB configuration integrated in the delivery state in the Room-based drawing window generates floor lines for horizontal installations and connects the consumers with individual supply lines. This creates an installation with a flow splitter in the cold water. A thermostatic circulation regulating valve, in this case an ETA-THERM, is used as the regulating valve. For consumers with a wall fitting, the object connection is made with a thermal separator.

      With Update all, all pipework within the rooms is updated.
    - Update selection
      With Update selection, all pipework within the selected rooms is updated.
    - Overview of rooms and room groups
      The room informationis displayed in the tabular overview.
  - Schematic Generator
    The Schematic Generator makes it possible to design a complete wiring diagram without any CAD experience. In a floor plan drawing, the Schematic Generator is not active.
  - Simulation
    The simulation is divided into a circulation simulation for hot and cold water and a water withdrawal simulation.
  - Section properties
    In the Edit and Calculate work perspective, your selection in the drawing is highlighted in colour. Section properties and component properties can be displayed and edited differently from the global project settings.
  - Insert drawing reference
    The Insert drawing reference function guides you through the settings for inserting a drawing reference.
  - Water softening system
    The drawing of a water softening system is a prerequisite for its design.

This creates an installation with a flow splitter in the cold water and hot water. Depending on the consumer type, the object connection is made with a double wall disc or a T-piece connection.

Rooms/room networks, consumers and risers are required to generate a complete pipe network in accordance with the regulations.

Once all the lines have been generated, the consumers are connected with the appropriate regulation technology.
