Command name: _Chamfer

You can chamfer open polylines or lines.

  1. Select the desired option in the command line.
    • Select Polylinie to chamfer unclosed polylines.
    • Select Distance to define the chamfer spacing via the intersection of the objects.
      Note:
If the chamfer distance is zero, the lines or polylines are stretched or trimmed to create an intersection point between the objects.
    • Select Angle to define the chamfer distances via the intersection of the objects and the xy angle.
      Note:
If the chamfer distance is zero, the lines or polylines are stretched or truncated to create an intersection point between the objects.
    • Activate Method to specify whether chamfering is to be carried out via a distance input or via an angle input.
    • Select the option Trim to specify whether the objects are to be trimmed during processing or not.
  2. Select the first line or polyline in the drawing.
  3. Select the second line or polyline.
