Create a new project

Creates a new project

Button:

Command name: CreateNewProject

  1. Activate the Explorer or Favourites tab and select the folder in which the new project is to be created.
  2. Select the folder in which the new project is to be created.
  3. Click on Next.
  4. In the drop-down menu, select Empty project, Create variant of an existing project or Standard and click Next if necessary.
    1. Empty project: Enter a name for the new project and click Next.
    2. Create a variant of an existing project: Select the storage location of the project you want to copy. Select the file and click Open. Then enter a name for the new project and click Next.
    3. Standard: Enter a name for the new drawing, select the project folder in which the new drawing is to be created and click Next.
  5. Enter the project information in the project cover sheet and click Next.
  6. Check all the details in the summary.
  7. If all the information is correct, click Finish.

The new project is opened.
