Hygiene system messages
Various messages can appear in the messages during the simulation, which are explained below.
- Flush time exceeded: To avoid unrealistically long flush times, a corresponding message is issued if a set limit value is exceeded. The limit value is related to each individual flush and not to the total flush. If you want to change this limit value for the current project, you can adjust the limit value in the project settings. If the flush time is too long, you should check the dimesions, pipe lengths and the selected flushing technology (flush valves, sanitary flush, etc.).
-
Maximum flow velocity exceeded: To avoid noise generation, flow velocities of more than 3.0 m/s should not occur during flushing. If this value is exceeded in a network, this message is displayed for the corresponding flow path. If you want to change this limit value for the current project, you can adjust the limit value in the project settings. Note:When transferring a pipe network from CALHYDRA, the pipe network simulation attempts to maintain the flow velocities by selecting the correct flush valves. If this is not successful, this message is displayed.
