Options Wizard (drinking water)
The options wizard guides you through the settings for the design.
Pipe definitions (Drinking water wizard options)
The selection of pipe definitions enables the quick assignment of different pipe sequences for each section type and the definition of the pre-wall system.

    Drawing-specific settings relating to your calculation are set in the Design options dialogue.

      It is necessary to select the utilisation types in order to determine the peak flow rate, taking into account the simultaneity of the water withdrawal.

      The minimum supply pressure can be defined in the options wizard using two options.

    - Ambient temperatures (DHW wizard options)
      The respective ambient temperatures are of particular importance when calculating the cold water temperatures after a stagnation phase and the discharge times for overheated cold water. For this reason, the ambient temperatures must be determined on a project-specific basis depending on the installation conditions before the calculation.
    - Summary (drinking water)
      The summary of the options wizard provides an overview of all previously made settings.
  - Project data
    The Project data dialogue contains project information for the current project, for example for the project cover sheet or to determine the rainfall donations.
  - Product sequence or product selection
    In the Product sequence or Product selection dialogue, select the product sequence or a product for components.

  - Simulation
    The simulation is divided into a circulation simulation for hot and cold water and a simulation of a cold water hygiene system.

    In the Edit and Calculate work perspective, your selection in the drawing is highlighted in colour. Section properties and component properties can be displayed and edited differently from the global project settings.

    The Insert drawing reference function guides you through the settings for inserting a drawing reference.

Pipe definitions (Drinking water wizard options)

The selection of pipe definitions enables the quick assignment of different pipe sequences for each section type and the definition of the pre-wall system.

House connection pipe

Select the pipe material for the house connection from the drop-down menu.

Distribution pipe

Select the pipe material for the riser/downpipe and floor distribution pipe from the drop-down menu.
Select the insulation material for the riser/downpipe and floor distribution pipe from the drop-down menu.

Storey pipe

From the drop-down menu, select the pipe materials for the floor ring pipe and individual supply pipe.
Select the insulation material for the storey ring main and individual supply pipe from the drop-down menu.

Pre-wall system

Select the pre-wall system from the drop-down menu.
Click on the Back button to revise the settings you made previously.
Click on the Next button to go to the next step of the design definitions.

Note:

If you have previously defined individual sections in the section properties (see also Edit and set value), these definitions remain in place.
