Global valve setting

Displays global valve settings

Button:

Command name: SimulationGlobalValveAdjustment

Make one of the three settings in the Global valve setting dialogue.
  • Select the Set valve option to select an available valve type from the drop-down list. You must also specify a valid setting value for the valve.
  • Select the option Adapt thermal valves to calculation (not recommended) so that an attempt is made to set the valves so that the valve characteristic curve of the thermal valves runs through an ideal point. If this is not possible, at least the setting where the characteristic curve runs as close as possible to this point is selected.
    Note:
An ideal Kv value is calculated for the valves. In the case of thermal valves, this ideal value is usually not on the valve characteristic curve and therefore cannot be achieved by the valve.
  • Select the Reset valves option to reset the valves selected from the drop-down menu to the status of the calculation. You can choose between the settings "Reset all valves", "Reset static valves" or "Reset thermal valves".
