Material editor
With the material editor, CALHYDRA supports you with convenient and fast determination of your dimensions.
Display masses
The masses with the respective prices for your project are displayed in a structured view. Various functions are available within the display.

    Drawing-specific settings relating to your calculation are set in the Design options dialogue.

  - Construction stages
    You can divide a drawing into construction stages so that you can later create a material extract according to construction stages.

    In the Edit and Calculate work perspective, your selection in the drawing is highlighted in colour. Section properties and component properties can be displayed and edited differently from the global project settings.

    The component filter allows you to quickly filter the selected components in the drawing.
  - Drainage areas
    The Drainage areas window in the Drainage section is divided into two tabs.
  - Find function
    CALHYDRA has a parameterised search function that supports you when searching for drawn sections and components in the drawing and when selecting products.
  - Hydraulics report
    With the preview of the calculation output, CALHYDRA supports you in customising the calculation output.
  - Mass extract
    With the preview of the mass statement, CALHYDRA supports you in customising the printout of the masses.

    With the material editor, CALHYDRA supports you with convenient and fast determination of your dimensions.
    - Display masses
      The masses with the respective prices for your project are displayed in a structured view. Various functions are available within the display.
    - CAD window
      The CAD window provides a quick visual overview and filter option of the dimensions used in your project drawings.
    - View
      The View area provides functions for organising the view in the material editor. The mass display is updated immediately after selecting the desired option.
    - Filter
      In the Filter area, the project parts list is restricted to selected content.
    - Printer
      The GAEB export and other print options are available in the Printer area.

    The options wizard guides you through the settings for the design.

    The Project data dialogue contains project information for the current project, for example for the project cover sheet or to determine the rainfall donations.

    In the Product sequence or Product selection dialogue, select the product sequence or a product for components.

  - Simulation
    The simulation is divided into a circulation simulation for hot and cold water and a simulation of a cold water hygiene system.

    In the Edit and Calculate work perspective, your selection in the drawing is highlighted in colour. Section properties and component properties can be displayed and edited differently from the global project settings.
  - Insert drawing reference
    The Insert drawing reference function guides you through the settings for inserting a drawing reference.

Display masses

The masses with the respective prices for your project are displayed in a structured view. Various functions are available within the display.

Click on a line to highlight it in orange and mark the corresponding object in the CAD window. Product information with item description and long text is also displayed.
The columns Manual quantity and Quantity % can be edited. The values entered are displayed in blue.
Manual quantity:
In this column, you can add quantities to the determined quantities by entering a positive numerical value. The quantity is reduced by entering negative numerical values.
Quantity %:
In this column, you can assign a percentage quantity surcharge. You can also reduce quantities here by entering negative percentages.

The column EP € (unit price) can be edited for neutral quantities.

Note:

The price entered here also applies to other drawings in the project.

Tip:

If you also want the price changes to be available in subsequent projects, export the price file with the changed prices and import the saved price file into each new project in which you require the edited prices.

Right-click in the display area to access further sub-options.

Show/hide columns:

The option to show or hide columns can be activated or deactivated.

Load standard layout:

If you select this option, your view in the material editor is reset to the delivery status.
Export to Excel:
After selecting the save location in Save as, your masses will be saved in an Excel file in xlsx format.
