Creates a single-line text object

Button:

Command name: _text

Use _text to create a single-line text. You can use single-line text to create one or more lines of text, where each line is an independent object that you can move, format or otherwise edit.

  1. Specify the insertion point of the text.
  2. Set the rotation angle of the text.
  3. Enter the text.
    Note:
    You can edit the text by double-clicking on the text to open the dialogue for editing CAD text.
