Insert drawing reference
The Insert drawing reference function guides you through the settings for inserting a drawing reference.
Scaling
The drawing must be scaled appropriately for correct drawing referencing.

    Drawing-specific settings relating to your calculation are set in the Design options dialogue.

      The summary of the settings made for adding a drawing reference provides an overview of all the settings previously made.

Scaling

The drawing must be scaled appropriately for correct drawing referencing.

Select the drawing to be scaled from the drop-down menu at the top.
Click on the Load drawing button to load the drawing for distance measurement.
Click on Show distance.
In the loaded drawing, show the first point for distance measurement.
In the loaded drawing, show the second point for distance measurement.
The various distances are displayed for selection under Set distance.
Select one of the distances displayed under Define distance

Note:
You can specify a desired distance with User-defined.
- Select the Custom option.
- Enter the desired distance in the Free: input field.
Click on the Back button to revise the settings you made previously.
Click on the Next button to go to the next step of the settings.
