Design options (waste water)
Drawing-specific settings relating to your calculation are set in the Design options dialogue.
Rainwater options (Wastewater design options)
In the Rainwater options section under Calculation, the calculation bases and properties for determining rainwater donation are defined.
Determination of rain donations
Properties for determining the rainfall donations are defined on the Rainfall Donation Determination tab in the Rainwater Options area.

    Drawing-specific settings relating to your calculation are set in the Design options dialogue.

      The Pipes/Insulation section under Recording allows you to customise individual definitions for each section type.

      The Pipe rows area under Recording provides an overview of individual pipe systems and enables individual adjustments to be made in the pipe system.

      The links to the respective product sequence are defined by component category in the Manufacturer catalogues area under Entry. Prefixes for the labelling are also defined.

      The Usage types section under Recording allows you to select and manage individual usage types.

Determination of rain donations

Properties for determining the rainfall donations are defined on the Rainfall Donation Determination tab in the Rainwater Options area.

Use the Update rainfall donations. .. button to update the rainfall donations based on the postcode in the project editor.
Use the Safety surcharge according to KOSTRA-DWD checkbox to define whether a percentage safety surcharge is to be applied to the rainfall donations depending on the return period.
Note:
If the design is based on a return period of 2 or 5 years, a safety margin of 10 % is applied. If you have selected a return period of 30 years, a safety margin of 15 % is applied. For a return period of 100 years, a safety margin of 20 % is taken into account.
The duration of the rainfall event and the annuality are displayed in the tabular overview. Click on the arrow to display the respective rainfall duration in minutes with the corresponding return period in years and the corresponding rainfall yield in l/(s*ha). The rainfall amounts can be adjusted manually.
Note:
The rainfall amounts are determined on the basis of the Kostra 2020 data (Coordinated Heavy Precipitation Regionalisation and Evaluation) of the German Weather Service. Depending on the return period "T", a percentage surcharge is applied to this data in accordance with the DWD recommendation (see also "upper range limit" DIN 1986-100, 14.2.2).
