Drainage areas
The Drainage areas window in the Drainage section is divided into two tabs.
Roof areas
Delete roof areas
Delete removes selected roof areas from the table overview. In addition, the associated roof area polygons are removed from the drawing in the floor plan drawing.
Delete roof areas in the floor plan
Roof areas can be selected and deleted in a floor plan drawing in two different ways.

  - Wastewater lifting unit

    Drawing-specific settings relating to your calculation are set in the Design options dialogue.

        Use Add area to create a new roof area in the tabular overview of the Drainage areas window on the Roof areas tab.
      - Delete roof areas
        Delete removes selected roof areas from the table overview. In addition, the associated roof area polygons are removed from the drawing in the floor plan drawing.

        Roof areas can be selected and deleted in a floor plan drawing in two different ways.
        Deleting roof areas in the scheme
        In a scheme drawing, roof areas can be deleted via the table overview in the Drainage areas window on the Roof areas tab.
      - Placing drains
        The Place drains function provides you with intelligent placement routines for roof drains in floor plan drawings. Customisable default settings including plausibility checks of the value entries are made, taking individual technical specifications into account.
      - Hatching roof areas
        Provide the roof areas in a floor plan drawing with a grey hatching for an overview.
      - Overview of roof areas
        The tabular overview in the Drainage areas window on the Roof areas tab displays information on all roof areas created in the drawing.

Delete roof areas in the floor plan

Roof areas can be selected and deleted in a floor plan drawing in two different ways.

Select the roof areas to be deleted from the drawing.
1. Select the roof areas to be deleted in the drawing.
  
  Note:
  You can make a single or multiple selection.
  
  The roof areas are also marked in the Roof areas window.
2. Call up the Delete function.
  The selected roof areas are deleted from the drawing and in the table overview in the Roof areas window.
Select the roof areas to be deleted from the table overview in the Drainage areas window on the Roof areas tab.
1. Select the roof area to be deleted in the table overview.
  
  Note:
  Only a single selection can be made in the table overview.
  
  The roof area polygon is selected in the drawing.
2. Call up the Delete function.
  The selected roof area is deleted from the drawing and from the table overview in the Drainage areas window on the Roof areas tab.

Note:

If you have removed open spaces, drains lose their assignment to the deleted open space.
