Drainage areas
The Drainage areas window in the Drainage section is divided into two tabs.
Roof areas
Overview of roof areas
The tabular overview in the Drainage areas window on the Roof areas tab displays information on all roof areas created in the drawing.
Column Emergency water level
The column Emergency water level in the Roof areas window on the Roof areas tab shows the water level in mm for emergency drainage.

    Drawing-specific settings relating to your calculation are set in the Design options dialogue.

  - Construction stages
    You can divide a drawing into construction stages so that you can later create a material extract according to construction stages.
  - Component properties
    In the Edit and Calculate work perspective, your selection in the drawing is highlighted in colour. Section properties and component properties can be displayed and edited differently from the global project settings.
  - Component filter
    The component filter allows you to quickly filter the selected components in the drawing.
  - Drainage areas
    The Drainage areas window in the Drainage section is divided into two tabs.
    - Roof areas
      - Add roof area
        Use Add area to create a new roof area in the tabular overview of the Drainage areas window on the Roof areas tab.
      - Delete roof areas
        Delete removes selected roof areas from the table overview. In addition, the associated roof area polygons are removed from the drawing in the floor plan drawing.
      - Placing drains
        The Place drains function provides you with intelligent placement routines for roof drains in floor plan drawings. Customisable default settings including plausibility checks of the value entries are made, taking individual technical specifications into account.
      - Hatching roof areas
        Provide the roof areas in a floor plan drawing with a grey hatching for an overview.

        Designation column
        The Designation column in the Drainage areas window on the Roof areas tab displays the unique identifier of the roof area.
        Area column
        The Area column in the Drainage areas window on the Roof areas tab shows the total area of the individual roof areas.
        Drainage coefficient column
        The Drainage coefficient column in the Drainage areas window on the Roof areas tab shows the peak drainage coefficient C_S of the roof area.
        Target discharge column
        The QSoll column in the Drainage areas window on the Roof areas tab shows the calculated target discharge in l/s.
        Setpoint discharge Not. column
        The QSollNot. column in the Drainage areas window on the Roof areas tab displays the calculated target discharge in l/s.
        Water level column
        The Water level column shows the water level in mm for roof areas without emergency drainage.
        Column Emergency water level
        The column Emergency water level in the Roof areas window on the Roof areas tab shows the water level in mm for emergency drainage.
        Maximum permissible damming height column
        The Maximum permissible accumulation height column in the Drainage areas window on the Roof areas tab shows the accumulation height in mm, which must also be taken into account for the maximum permissible surface load for the roof construction. You can adjust this dam height by entering it in the input field.

    CALHYDRA has a parameterised search function that supports you when searching for drawn sections and components in the drawing and when selecting products.

    With the preview of the calculation output, CALHYDRA supports you in customising the calculation output.

    With the preview of the mass statement, CALHYDRA supports you in customising the printout of the masses.

    With the material editor, CALHYDRA supports you with convenient and fast determination of your dimensions.

Column Emergency water level

The column Emergency water level in the Roof areas window on the Roof areas tab shows the water level in mm for emergency drainage.

Select the required water level for emergency drainage from the drop-down menu.

Note:

For roof areas created for the first time, a default accumulation height of 35 mm is preset. If there are already roof areas in the table overview in the Drainage areas window on the Roof areas tab, the default setting for new roof areas is the water retention height of the last roof area placed.

Tip:

To sort individual columns, click on the column headers in the table to sort the entries in the respective column in ascending or descending order.
