In the second step, ‘Interim result’, a combination of results is determined on the basis of the requirements profiles and the calculation parameters.
The
‘Interim Result 2 of 3’ dialogue box is divided into five sections.
- Drinking water
- Drinking water heater
- Heating circuit
- Energy storage
- Heat generator
You can adjust the default values for the Drinking water, Drinking water heater, Heating circuit, Energy storage and Heat generator sections.
Domestic hot water section
-
If necessary, adjust the hot water outlet temperature in °C in the PWH input field.
-
If necessary, adjust the peak flow rate in l/s – which is derived from the demand profiles you have created – in the VS input field.
-
If necessary, adjust the cold water inlet temperature in °C in the PWC input field.
-
Tick the ‘flushable’ checkbox if the supply pipe is to be flushable.
Drinking Water Heater section
-
If necessary, use ‘Edit Domestic Hot Water Heater ’ to adjust the calculation parameters for domestic hot water heating.
Heating Circuit section
-
If necessary, use ‘Edit heating circuit ’ to adjust the calculation parameters for the heating circuit.
Energy Storage Section
-
If necessary, use ‘Edit Energy Storage ’ to adjust the calculation parameters for domestic hot water heating.
Heat Generator section
-
If necessary, adjust the maximum flow temperature of the heat source in the ‘VL’ input field.
Note: The value entered must be at least 63 °C and no more than 95 °C.
-
If necessary, adjust the maximum flow temperature of the heat source in the ‘Disinfection’ case in °C in the VL (Des) input field.
Note: The value entered must be at least 75 °C and no more than 95 °C.
-
If necessary, adjust the minimum required heat generator output in the ‘kW Output’ input field.
-
Hover your mouse over the ‘kW Output’ input field to view the peak demand in kW.
-
If necessary, adjust the target operating cycle of the heat generator per day in the ‘Target operating cycle ’ input field.
-
Check the calculated return temperature in °C in the VL display field.
