KTS design module
The KTS design module enables you to dimension the KTS thermal system, a centralised DHW heating system based on the flow-through principle. It only takes three steps to achieve the result, including documentation of the results.
Interim result
In the second step, ‘Interim result’, a combination of results is determined on the basis of the requirements profiles and the calculation parameters.

In the ThermoTank dialogue, you can adjust individual calculation properties for the KTS ThermoTank and its installation dimensions.

KTS design module
The KTS design module enables you to dimension the KTS thermal system, a centralised DHW heating system based on the flow-through principle. It only takes three steps to achieve the result, including documentation of the results.
- Determining requirements
  In the first step, demand determination, you define the specific demand for your planning using demand profiles or by specifying manual tapping processes.
- Interim result
  In the second step, ‘Interim result’, a combination of results is determined on the basis of the requirements profiles and the calculation parameters.
  - Edit drinking water heater
    In the ‘Drinking Water Heating’ dialogue box, you can adjust individual calculation properties for the KTS fresh water station and its installation dimensions.
  - Edit heating circuit
    In the Heating circuit dialogue, you can adjust individual calculation properties for the heating circuit.
  - Edit energy storage tank
    In the ThermoTank dialogue, you can adjust individual calculation properties for the KTS ThermoTank and its installation dimensions.
- Result
  The third and final step, Results, provides you with comprehensive results documentation.

In the ThermoTank dialogue, you can adjust individual calculation properties for the KTS ThermoTank and its installation dimensions.

ThermoTank area

Enter the switching differential in % in the Switching hysteresis input field.

Note:
The value entered must be at least 50 % and must not exceed 100 %.
Enter the return buffer volume in % in the Return buffer volume input field.

Note:
The value entered must be at least 10 % and must not exceed 50 %.
Select the required pressure level from the Pressure level drop-down menu.

Installation dimensions area

By activating the Check installation dimensions checkbox, you can specify the installation surfaces for checking.
Enter the installation area in metres in the Installation area length l_TT input field.
Enter the installation area in metres in the installation area width b_TT input field.

Technical centre area

By activating the Check installation dimensions checkbox, you can enter the installation dimensions for checking.
Enter the ceiling height in metres in the Ceiling height input field.

Note:
If you move the mouse over the Ceiling height input field, the height of the ThermoTank is displayed.
Enter the ceiling height in metres in the Access width input field.

Note:
If you move the mouse over the Access width input field, the width of the ThermoTank is displayed.

Confirm entries

Exit the ThermoTank dialogue with Ok.
