The customisable user interface of STUDIO consists of various elements, which are explained in more detail below.

  The building services toolbar is the dynamic command centre of STUDIO.

  The toolbar is located at the top of the screen directly below the menu bar.

    - PICKADD
      You use the PICKADD drawing variable to determine the selection behaviour in the drawing.
    - SNAP
      You can use the grid snap drawing variable to determine the snap behaviour on the grid.
    - OFANG
      With the object snap, you can precisely define geometric points on existing objects without having to know the exact coordinates of these points.
    - ORTHO
      Use the ORTHO drawing variable to activate or deactivate perpendicular drawing.
    - LST
      Use the LST drawing variable to activate or deactivate the display of the set line thickness.
    - LTYP
      Use the LTYP drawing variable to activate or deactivate the display of the set line type.
    - RASTER
      The grid is a series of evenly spaced lines or dots that serve as a visual distance reference.

You can optimise individual drawing processes by adjusting the grid spacing.

Define the desired grid spacing.

Enter the grid spacing in the input field, separated by a comma.
Use the + or - button to adjust the grid spacing.

The value entered here only applies to the current drawing. If you also want to use the entered grid spacing for subsequent drawings, you must enter the grid spacing in the Project and application settings dialogue.
