Building services toolbar

The building services toolbar is the dynamic command centre of CALHYDRA.

The central command interface is organised according to the following 5 work perspectives and trades. You can adhere strictly to the workflow from left to right or skip individual points in between, for example to carry out analyses or printouts before the project is completed.

Table 1. Edit working perspective
Button:
The following functions are available in the Edit work perspective:
  • Display of flow path, section and component data
  • Editing of calculation-relevant data (utilisation types, pipe types, ambient temperatures, construction sections, etc.)
  • Convenient multiple editing commands
  • Fast filter function for sections and components
  • Direct selection function for identical components in the drawing
  • Control view for already edited sections

Table 2. Calculate working perspective
Button:
The following functions are available in the Calculate work perspective:
  • Display of flow path, sections and component data
  • Clear list of technical and hydraulic data in flow path details, section table and section component list
  • Supplementary diagrams of the characteristic curve, the pressure curve, the temperature/tap profile, the nominal diameter distribution and the temperature during stagnation
  • Product information from the manufacturer including article number, price, long text and illustration of the product
Table 3. Analyse work perspective
Button:
In the Analyse work perspective, the following visualised analyses are available by colouring in the sections or components:
  • Type of utilisation
  • Temperature curve in the circulation
  • Construction stages
  • Reliability in the planning of PWC systems by analysing the PWC temperature after stagnation, PWC hygiene and PWC temperature rise time, etc.
  • Display of comfort classes according to VDI 6003
  • Overview of the stored construction stages, utilisation types and pipe types used
Table 4. Simulate working perspective
Button:
The following functions are available in the Simulate work perspective:
  • Simulation of the hydraulically balanced circulation network to ensure that the temperature is maintained throughout the network
  • Simulation of thermal disinfection
  • Simulation of the flushing technology with the KEMPER Hygiene System (KHS)
Table 6. Document work perspective
Button:
The following functions, among others, are available in the Document work perspective:
  • Printout of editable mass extract in various common formats
  • Transfer as GAEB file
  • Printout of the hydraulic results in detailed or compact form
  • Plot assistant with setting of the plot area, scale, automatic legend and title block creation, etc.
